Font Modifiers allow you to increase or decrease the size of the text from its default size (set at 0) for your Site Title, Navigation, and Pages. This is most helpful when selecting fonts that render at small sizes.
This setting controls the alignment of the logo. The menu is positioned opposite the position of the logo.
A good place to start is around 200 width by 70 height in pixels. If you need the logo bigger/smaller, just resize the logo in your image editing program and then re-upload into the admin.
Because Shoreline is an HTML site, you can embed youtube, vimeo, and other third party video players. Simply paste embed code on a page using the text editor when editing a page.
Page redirects can be set to open in the same window as the site by setting the Redirect target under Site Settings > Template Settings to “_self”. This can also be set to target a given window name so all redirects open in a given new window. Otherwise all redirects will open in a new window by default.
Shoreline allows you to control the margins and display settings for how images and pages display. These settings can be found under Site Settings > Template Settings.
These settings control the margins for the available area for intro and gallery images. They are calculated from the top, left, and right edges of the browser window and the footer area.
There are three image view modes: “stretch to fill”, “stretch to fit”, and “do not stretch”. Stretch to fill scales intro and gallery images fill the available space allowed by the image margin settings. To make images fill the entire window, set all image margins to 0 and select stretch to fill is the image view mode. Stretch to fit scales images proportionally to fit within the available image margin settings. Do not stretch will not scale images beyond their native width and height.
These settings control the margins for the available area for pages. They are calculated from the top, left, and right edges of the browser window and the footer area.
This setting controls the maximum allowable width pages can occupy. Pages will scale down as needed to fit within the available space as dictated by the page margin settings and the browser window size.
This setting controls the page background opacity. If set to 100, the page background will be completely opaque. If set to 0, the page background will be completely transparent. Page background color is controlled by the page color setting under Site Settings > Colors.
